Season 2 of the Netflix drama 'Squid Game' is in the final stages of filming in Daejeon. The first filming took place in July of last year, so it took a full year just to film. The previous episode had nine episodes and this season two has six episodes. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk is in charge of writing and directing, and Cyron Pictures CEO Kim Ji-yeon, who is also the daughter of novelist Kim Hoon, produces. The production cost is KRW 100 billion, the largest in Korea, and will set to premiere between October and December.
