The long weekends of 2023 are out! It’s time to plan your next trip. What destination better to visit than the land of the morning calm?
Like the rest of the world, South Korea has opened its borders to tourists. To encourage even more tourists, visa restrictions in Gangwon Province, South Korea are lifted. However, you must enter only from Gangwon Province and tour only the capital city of Seoul.
The South Korean embassy announced that for Filipinos who have the following:
Have a valid passport
Are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (2 doses)
Have a travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage
Have booked a tour program arranged by one of eight designated travel agencies, and
Are scheduled to fly in and out via Yangyang International Airport on the same flight as their tour group
They can travel to Gangwon and explore the Seoul Metropolitan area. If you have these requirements, you may apply for Travel Authorization here.

The province of Gangwon, or Gangwon-do, has a lot to offer especially for nature lovers. The famed Nami Island is among them. Here are some of the best things to do in Korea’s adventure province:
