To give their best performance, the rising boy group ENHYPEN named BTS as their biggest music influence during their Manila Press Conference at the Marco Polo Hotel - Ortigas, on December 3, Saturday.
The cameras started flashing around the corner as the seven-member Korean boyband entered the room receiving applause from several medias on different platforms. The group was composed of Jay, Heesung, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki.
"The biggest musical influence that I could say is BTS and of course we as a group we are going to be doing our best or exert more effort to have such influence and such good reasonable performance or things that we can show to the people over to the audience," Sunoo said in an interview.
The Korean-Australian Jake mentioned that their strength as a group is unity whenever they step up on stage and look for their strong attraction in choreographies despite their differences coming from a reality show.
Sunghoon replied to a question about pulling off different genres. “‘Pass the Mic’ was a new genre that we tried. If there’s any opportunity, we’d like to try other genres too, because that’s one strong point of Enhypen. ”
Going to different places and countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, America, and Japan, the group feels their skills and charisma improved which makes them look more attractive over time. Jungwoon replied that eating, sleeping well, and taking vitamins are the secrets to getting more handsome amidst their crazy schedule.
"Of course, the best way is to equal and sleep well and I guess these days we try our best to sleep occasionally and take vitamins," he replied.
The press conference was organized by Wilbros live and BYS Philippines, receiving gratitude for their tenth anniversary from the group. "We were able to get together with our fans and I actually hope that this kind of opportunities would be more plenty so we will do our best to grab this kind of more opportunities and style," Heesung said.
