We all know that the kilig is out of control when we see our favorite oppas and unnies create high-energy kilig scenes whenever they visit South Korea’s beaches!
When the main characters eventually muster the strength to declare their love to their lovers, the serene waters provide a wonderful background soundtrack!
The sound of the ocean waves makes it seem as though they are rooting for and encouraging the love of our favorite couples in Kdramas. And it's no secret that we all want to visit the beaches that served as the setting for the making of our favorite Kdrama series, as we have witnessed the love and sincerity of the characters played by our favorite Korean actors and actresses through these beach dates and confessions!
Here are a few lists to keep in mind if you want to visit South Korea beaches that were shown in popular Kdrama series:
AYAJIN BEACH
The It's Okay To Not Be Okay couple, Ko Moon Young and Moon Gang Tae, had just begun their relationship when one of the most heartbreaking scenes in Kdrama history took place at the beach of Ayajin. In this scene, the male lead expressed his feelings to his lover and told her that he wanted to let her go because he carries lots of burdens, referring to his older brother, Sang Tae, who has special needs.
But Ayajin Beach assured us that scene would be forgotten as it also provided the most heartwarming scenes, such as Moon Gang Tae and Ko Moon Young taking a drive along the beach road while admiring the calm waves of the beach.

The OK Psychiatric Hospital, where Moon Gang Tae works, is also nearby and can be seen from Ayajin Beach. The hospital was originally a cafe called Secret Blue.
Who could forget this famous beach, which was one of the filming locations for the heartwarming K-drama Hometown Cha Cha Cha? Our favorite K-actress, Shi Min Ah, who played Hye Jin, and K-actor Kim Seon Ho, who played Hong Banjang, had their first encounter on Wolpo Beach.
Kdrama fans who want to experience and see the locations where their favorite Kdrama series were filmed have made this famous beach a popular tourist destination.
The beautiful city of Pohang served as the setting for the filming of Hometown Cha Cha Cha, so in addition to Wolpo Beach, you might also want to stop by Chongha Market, Sabang Memorial Park, Yangpohang Fishing Port, and Cheongjin 2-Ri Lighthouse.
Wolpo Beach can be found at 431-108 Yongdu-ri, Cheongha-myeon, Buk-gu, Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea.
Following their iconic first encounter, people all over the world tried to recreate the moment and posted it on various social media websites. In South Korea, Jumunjin Beach rose to prominence as a major tourist attraction.
South Korea's Jumunjin Beach is located at 210, Jumunbuk-ro, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do.
NAMHAE ISLAND

In 2017, the bride and the goblin crossed paths and took over the world with their storylines and flawless casting. This Kdrama went viral and became the talk of the planet; as a result, its filming locations, including those in other countries, turned into popular tourist destinations.
The most famous and frequently visited beach in South Korea, Jumunjin Beach, is where Kim Shin, also known as the Goblin, first met his bride, Ji Eun Tak. The Goblin’s bride frowned as she wished and prayed for the things she wanted to happen at Jumunjin Beach on her birthday. She blew out her candle, and as soon as she did, a man holding a flower suddenly materialized in front of her.

NAMHAE ISLAND
One of the best types of dates is one that takes place on a beach, as it brings you closer to nature as well as your loved ones. The soothing sound of the ocean waves, the chirping of the birds, the swaying of the trees, and your significant other—the ideal beach date!
Our True Beauty couple, Ju Kyung and Suho, had a special date on Namhae Island. The Seolri Skywalk, which offers views of Namhae Island, was where they spent the entire day strolling and making memories. The swing is a gorgeous stand at Namhae and is ideal for a couple's date.
