Looks like Flower of Evil will be included on our  GOAT: Top Philippine Adaptations of Famous K-Dramas of All Time. 

Last month Viu and ABS-CBN announced the expansion of their partnership to adapt the hit South Korean thriller drama Flower of Evil in 16 markets across Asia, the Middle East and South Africa. This is the first Viu Original Adaptation from the Philippines which stars Lovi Poe and Piolo Pascual. 

This will be Piolo's first drama series after four years after "Since I Found You" in 2018. Piolo will play the character of Jacob who changes his identity to hide his cruel past.

Flower of Evil marks the first acting project of Lovi as a Kapamilya since she transferred to ABS-CBN in 2021. Lovi will play Iris, the detective who marries Jacob.

Viu Philippines just posted today the powerhouse cast of the upcoming series which includes Agot Isidro, Edu Manzano, Denise Laurel, Joross Gamboa, Joem Bascon, Epy Quizon, Rita Avila, Jett Pangan, Pinky Amador, Joko Diaz, and JC de Vera. Directed by Darnel Villaflor and Richard Arellano, backed up by a powerhouse production team.

The series will premiere on June 23, 8pm on Viu ahead of its TV broadcast. Viewers can see it on the Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live and A2Z on June 25.
