It is for certain that everyone before graduating thinks and worries about the uncertainty that lies ahead once they graduate and enter the ‘real world.’ Which is why, it is really important for a student to be immersed in the ‘real world’ practices before actually going into that world. With all that being said, what better company to immerse yourself in than PS Media Enterprise!

PS Media Enterprise is currently looking for interns for its Summer Internship 2022 Program! Want to learn more about this opportunity? Keep on reading as you may be the one who we are looking for.

PS Media’s Internship Program is designed to provide hands - on learning and training to each intern. Our main goal is to provide relevant experience to interns in order to assist them in achieving their future professional goals in the face of adversity specially in this time of the pandemic. The company has five different departments namely:

(1) Broadcasting Department which handles the Pinoy Seoul Radio, the company’s online radio station.
(2) Media Acquisition Department which handles the ASEAN Content Market, which is a platform that focuses on film acquisition and distribution.
(3) Content Distribution Department which handles the international film acquisition and distribution of the company.
(4) Localization Marketing and Post Production Department which handles the localization business of the company.
(5) Digital Marketing Department which is in charge of handling the platforms under OBRAA, a tech non profit organization based in California that focuses on cultural development of overseas Filipino communities.

The detailed training plan for each department of 2022’s PS Media Internship are as follows:

Broadcasting Department

In the first few weeks of the Internship Program, Broadcasting Department interns would be tasked to generate an initial draft of a 90-Days Operation Strategy for the Pinoy Seoul Radio. This plan would be the intern's and supervisor's guide in the tasks that they would be doing throughout the internship program.

Along with this, they will also be trained in the following areas:

● Learning how to manage the company's online radio station — Pinoy Seoul Radio
● Developing and producing radio programs and segments for the station which may include brainstorming, scriptwriting, and editing.
● Determining the segment, programs, and contents to be aired, this may also include which show Organizing schedule of radio contents.
● Communicating with different potential sponsors with the goal of building partnerships.

Media Acquisitions Department

In the first few weeks of the program, the Pre-Acquisition interns would be tasked with developing a 90 Day Pre - Acquisition Plan or Social Media Marketing Strategy for the company. This plan would then be executed by the interns under the guidance of their supervisor.

Along with this, they would also be trained in the following areas:

● Understanding the process of film acquisition and distribution specifically in South East Asia.
● Learning how to interact with international clients through call and email.
● Handling social media pages and websites owned by the company.
● Assisting the team in reaching out to filmmakers and media companies across the world.
● Handling Administrative requirements required for the job which could include lead sourcing and data sorting.

Contents Distribution Department

In the first few weeks of the program, content distribution interns would be tasked with generating an initial draft of a 90- Day Content Distribution Plan or Social Media Marketing Strategy for the company. This plan would then be executed by the interns under the guidance of their supervisor.

Along with this, they will also be trained in the following areas:

● Understanding the basic process of acquiring and distributing contents specifically in different global marketplaces
● Assisting in project management, event calendars, content catalogs, social media posts and other administrative task
● Managing numerous projects at the same time as well as ad hoc / special projects
● Maintaining a high level of alignment with numerous cross-functional teams (Pre-Acquisitions, Regional Coordinator, Social Media, Content Localization), as well as on your team.

Localization Marketing and Post Production Department

In the first few weeks of the program, the Localization interns would be tasked to generate an initial draft of a 90 Day Localization Plan or Social Media Marketing Strategy for the company. This plan would then be executed by the Interns with the guidance of their supervisor

Along with this, they will also be trained in the following areas:

● Communicating to different media companies around the world
● Marketing the localization services that the company offers
● Translating from Filipino language to English language or vice versa
● Doing post production jobs such as editing and layout.
● Monitoring schedules for all translation projects
● Ensuring that translated material conforms to graphic standards
● Publishing reports on project status.

Digital Marketing Department

In the first few weeks of the internship program, digital marketing interns would be tasked with generating an initial draft of a 90- Days Digital Marketing Plan for the company. This plan would be the intern's and supervisor's guide to the tasks that they would be doing throughout the internship program.

Along with this, they will also be trained in the following areas:

● Creating digital marketing plans
● Managing different websites and monitoring the company's digital platforms
● Researching for strategies, materials and contents for social media
● Writing and publishing content for the websites
● Drafting and submitting grant proposals
