I won the "Guess My Scent" contest of candelesbycan.dela. I immediately asked if I can get the Vincenzo and Chairman candles as my prize. I was so happy and kilig (giddy) when the seller agreed to my request. Today, I received the package!

My candle journey actually started with the Son Ye-jin limited edition scented candle when you get a phone plan from Smart Signature. Since then, I am on the hunt for good-smelling candles. Also, remember the heartwarming candle scene in CLOY? <3

How it started?
It was a different story for Cris of candlesbycan.dela, it all started when she was looking for a citronella-scented candle. She searched it online but found it pricey. That is time she told herself "Maybe I should make my own candles." She started researching, watching video tutorials, purchasing her first kit and started candle-making. It received a lot of positive feedback and just like a candle, her interest has sparked an idea and turned into a business.
Before candle making, she was really into BTS and K-drama. One of her first collections was BTS-inspired candles. After watching the drama It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, she created a candle with the same name. She dedicates it to people who are struggling mentally and that they may be comforted by lighting a candle saying that “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.”
"Every time I watch the drama, it feels like he (Song Joong-ki) smells so dainty and sophisticated," said Cris. She was so hooked with the Netflix show Vincenzo that she started to research for a fragrance oil with the scent of luxe and sophistication.
The Vincenzo Candle is made of pure soy wax
and blended with the luxurious scent of Tonka and Oud.
After the successful launch of the Vincenzo Candle, she got a request for a Chairman candle. To cater to the demand, she created one with seducing aroma of Cardamom and Plum.
By the way, both candles are with a masculine scent. If you are asking me my preferred candle, for now, I am in love with Chairman.
