This Korean visa application guide is meant for groups that plan to partake in a company incentive tour or educational tour.
The Rundown
- The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines will now be processing group South Korea tourist visa applications.
- Group visa applications are available for those partaking in a company incentive or educational tour.
- The group applying for a Korean visa must be in the same flight or vessel upon entering and exiting South Korea.
- Interested parties may submit their Korean visa requirements and application to travel agencies designated by the Embassy. Contact details are provided below.
Notice: Application for South Korea Tourist Group Visa
On July 24, 2018, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of the Philippines announced that they are set to process group applications for the South Korea tourist visa.
Groups who meet the following criteria may proceed with their collective application:

- Must have at least five (5) members applying for a Korean visa
- Group must be in the same company incentive tour or educational tour (below secondary and collegiate levels)
- Group must arrive at and depart from South Korea under the same flight or vessel

As noted on the Embassy's online notice, those who intend to apply for a Korean visa as a group may contact the following designated travel agencies, which are expected to have varying guidelines, schedules, fees and procedures:

South Korea Tourist Visa Requirements
The following are the basic Korean visa requirements for employees and students in the Philippines:
EMPLOYEES
- Application Form
- One (1) piece of Passport size colored picture (to be pasted on the Application Form)
- Original Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months)
- Photocopy of Passport Bio-page
- Original & Photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the past 5 years, if applicable
- Original Certificate of Employment (must include applicant's position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number since cell-phone number is not allowed), and HR e-mail address)
- Original Personal Bank Certificate (must include account type, current balance, account opening date, ADB)
- Bank Statement (original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months)
- ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316 Copy
- Copy of PRC Card or IBP Card, if applicable only
STUDENTS
- Application Form
- One (1) piece of Passport size colored picture (to be pasted on the Application Form)
- Original Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months)
- Photocopy of Passport Bio-page
- Original & Photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the past 5 years, if applicable
- School Certificate (Original)
- Copy of School ID
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Parents' Documents
- If parents are employed:
- Original Employment Certificate (must include position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number since cell-phone number is not allowed), HR e-mail address)
- Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316 Copy
- Original Bank Certificate (must include account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance)
- Bank Statement (original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months)
- If self-employed:
- Copy of Business Registration from SEC or DTI
- Copy of Business Permit or Mayor's Permit
- Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316 with corresponding payment receipt from BIR authorized bank
- Original Bank Certificate (must include account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance)
- Bank Statement (original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months)
- Copy of NSO Marriage Certificate

TIPS!
- Before gathering your Korean visa requirements, check with any of the travel agency listed above if there are any special guidelines or requirements needed for your group's application.
- If your Philippine passport is set to expire in six months' time upon your entry to South Korea, e.g. your passport's expiration is July 15, 2018 and your arrival to South Korea will be January 15, 2018 onwards, it will be considered invalid. You'll even most likely be unable to pass through the Bureau of Immigration counter in the airport.

- On July 1, 2018, the company alphalist was removed from the list of standard Korean visa requirements for employees. However, the Embassy reserves the right to request one from applicants should they find it necessary. Read more about the company alphalist for Korean visa here.
