Myeongdong is one of the most popular shopping district in Seoul. In fact, most Filipinos include this area in their itinerary when they visit South Korea. If you are not so sure and familiar with the food. Here's something that you must not miss when visiting!
1. Kimbap
One of the most popular Korean easy to go food is kimbap and it’s simply packed with nutritious vegetables and meat freshly prepared upon ordering. It looks like a sushi roll and is sliced into bite-size pieces. As for the street style, it is usually pre-made and is packed in plastic wraps.
2. Bbopkki (Sugar Lollipop)
A caramelized sugar with a mix of a little baking soda. This sugar lollipop is popular for kids and young at heart as it reminds them of their childhood. These candies can be found in different sizes and designs. You can usually find one from street vendors along Myeongdong.
3. Blood Sausage (Sundae)
One of the weirdest looking street food you might see in Myeongdong is the blood sausage. it is made of steamed cow or pig’s intestines that are stuffed with various ingredients. It has coagulated pigs blood mixed with some glass noodles.

A fan of seafood? Here's something that you must try! Koreans love seafood as well and they made it a little lit on their cooking by simply adding varieties of squid, mussels and a vegetables like leeks and green onion and made it in a pancake style!
5. Jajangmyeon
This is something you often hear even abroad. Jajangmyeon is a Korean-Chinese noodle dish with sauce made of dark soybean paste. Like other noodles, they also add pork and some vegetables and some even add spiciness on it for some kick.
