FILKOHA or Filipino Korean Heritage Association is a registered organization (Philippine Embassy Seoul) composed of Filipino expatriates living in South Korea founded on June 18, 2017 and recognized on July 1, 2017.
Finally, the association is formed on June 18th in Jongro~gu right after the Filipino~Korean Wedding sponsored by the Multiculture Museum.
HISTORY
The second meeting happened on June 11th after the Independence Day celebration headed by the Philippine Embassy.It all started on June 8th in 2017 when a group of Filipino women living in Korea decided to form a volunteer association with the goal of preserving their Filipino culture while sharing their knowledge of Korean culture to the Filipino community.Finally, the association is formed on June 18th in Jongro~gu right after the Filipino~Korean Wedding sponsored by the Multiculture Museum.
